How to help
ThaiFightDB is built by fans. Most of the fights here were matched to their fighters automatically from video titles, so a lot of it still needs someone who knows the fighters to check it.
What needs doing
- Check fights, one at a time. 1867 fights were matched from a video title and haven't been checked: are the fighters right, and in the right corners?
- Identify fighters. 336 fights have a fighter nobody has named yet. See them →
- Add dates and venues. 2494 fights have no date. Open a fight and choose Edit.
- Merge duplicates. If the same fighter appears twice under different spellings (or once in Thai, once in English), choose Same person as… on either fighter's page.
- Flag videos that aren't fights, such as a ram muay on its own, training or an interview: Not a fight? on the fight page.
- Add photos and write articles: fight posters, magazine scans, fighter histories.
Getting started
Editing needs an account. Accounts are by invitation for now, so ask whoever sent you here, then log in. Suggestions are checked by an editor before they appear, so don't worry about getting something wrong.
Contributors are credited by first name (or username) on the fights and fighters they improve.
